This is a 50s mens overcoat made of a blended cashmere and wool fabric. This 50s mens overcoat is made in a classic style with padded shoulders, medium width notched lapels, a three button front, flapped side patch pockets, and turned half cuffs. This 50s mens overcoat is half lined in navy blue satin acetate. The coat is in a particular blue colour that appears to have been popular during the 50s.

Sizing: There is no size label on this 50s mens overcoat and although it should fit a size medium (40, maybe 42) short (note the shorter sleeve and overall length), please rely on the following measurements for fit, taken from the exterior (please take the thickness of the fabric and the cut of the garment into consideration):
Shoulders: 18 1/2” from shoulder/sleeve seam to shoulder/sleeve seam
Sleeves: 24” from the shoulder seam / 33” from the mid-neck seam to the sleeve edge
Sleeve Inseam: 15” long

Overall length: 38 1/2“, measured flat at the back from the neck seam to the hemline
Condition: This cashmere and wool blended 50s mens overcoat is in very crisp condition - it looks like it saw little, if any, use. There is no wear, tear or staining and has been well stored.
This is a wonderful 50s mens overcoat - this is my favourite period for men’s clothing, always beautifully styled!
