1940s Vintage Silk Pyjamas Peachy Pink Ladies Size M

This is a fabulous pair of vintage silk pyjamas made in a peachy pink tone.  The top is made with short sleeves and shirt type collar with looped edge.  It has a small upper opening that closes with two snaps and a hook and eye at the neckline.  The sleeves have turned cuffs that are also edged in loops and there is a small pocket at the left bust.  There are loops for a belt, but none is present.  The pants are made with a wide leg and close at either side with three shell buttons and three snaps.

Size:  No size is indicated, and although these vintage silk pyjamas should fit a range of medium sizes, please rely on the following measurements for fit taking the style of these vintage silk pyjamas into account:

Shoulders:  15” across shoulder/sleeve seams

Sleeves:  7 1/2” long from the shoulder/sleeve seam

Bust:  38” - should fit loosely

Waist: 34" around, uncinched - could be cinched to any waist desired (you would have to supply the sash belt)

Length:  22 1/4”

Pants:

Waist:  27”

Leg Inseam: 22 3/4” long 

Length: 39", measured lying flat

Condition:  These vintage silk pyjamas are in very good condition with no wear, tear or odour - there are two finger smudges at the upper front of the pants (see last close-up photo) that will surely come out with a cleaning  These vintage silk pyjamas look to have seen little, if any, use and was well cared for over the years.
