This is a well preserved WWII US Regulation Army Officer’s Shirt.  The shirt is made from an olive drab fine wool crepe.  It has shoulder epaulettes, button-down flapped patch pocket at either side and a seven button closure.  It has button down barrel cuffs.  The original owner’s monogram is sewn into the interior shoulder.

Sizing: No size is indicated, and although this WWII US Regulation Army Officer’s Shirtshould fit a small to medium size, please rely on the following measurements for fit, noting the shorter length of the sleeve:

Neck: 14 1/2” /15”

Shoulders:  17” from seam to seam

Sleeves:  21 1/2” long from shoulder seam, 30” from the mid neck 

Sleeve inseam:  19”

Chest: 45”

Waist: 43”

Length: 29”, taken at the back from the neck seam

Condition: This WWII US Regulation Army Officer’s Shirt is in very good condition - some very light whitish marks around the right pocket, but this is really minor.  Otherwise, no pronounced wear, tear, odour or soiling - this shirt was well cared for over the years and looks great.  

The fabric is really wonderful on this WWII US Regulation Army Officer’s Shirt - meant for class A or service dress, nice collectible shirt!
