Antique W.H. Grindley Celtic flow blue dessert bowl

Antique W.H. Grindley Celtic Flow Blue Berry or Dessert Bowl c.1897

$28.00

This antique berry or dessert bowl was produced by W.H. Grindley & Co. of England in the beautiful Celtic flow blue pattern. Dating to the late Victorian or early Edwardian era, the bowl features richly flowing cobalt blue decoration accented with delicate gilt highlights along the moulded rim.

The design combines ornate foliate motifs with a textured border and softly scalloped edge, creating the blurred, atmospheric effect that collectors prize in antique flow blue china. The central medallion motif echoes the refined aesthetic of the larger serving pieces in the Celtic pattern line.

The underside bears the W.H. Grindley globe backstamp associated with production from the late 19th to early 20th century.
