This is a 1970s era wool skirt made by the renowned Parisian fashion house of Yves St. Laurent. The skirt is woven in a striped pattern in black, and a touch of red against blue. It is made in a wraparound style that closes at the left side with two buttons spaced apart. It is pleated at the left side and back and has YSL impressed buttons. This came from a lot of vintage French designer clothing that I acquired and I believe that this may have been a sample.

Sizing: Size 40 is indicated, but this is a vintage French sizing - it should fit a small size, but please rely on the following measurements for fit:
Waist: 26”
Hips: 36”-38”
Length: 27”
Condition: It is in excellent condition - very clean and looks like it saw little, if any, use. As mentioned, I believe that this is a sample, so probably was not used, and special attention was taken in its manufacture.
This is a very nice quality skirt in a very attractive striped pattern, by one of the greatest Parisian fashion designers……great for winter wear!
