Vintage 1970s Wool Pullover Sweater Open Weave Crochet Knit Italy

This is a 1970s vintage wool pullover sweater featuring open weave knit work.  I’m not a knitter, but I believe that this is a type of knitted crochet, most likely hand knit.  The colours are in tones of grey, black and off-white.  This pullover sweater has a bateau or boat neckline and full cut raglan style long sleeves with cinched cuffs - it is made with a longer silhouette and has a small slit at either bottom side.   The labels are a little contradictory - one reads “Importations Maud Inc. Made In France” while the content label reads “80% wool 10% nylon 10% mohair Made in Italy A norma della legge no 883 del 26-11-1973”.  This pullover sweater is made for a small to medium size depending on preference for fit, but please note the following measurements: 

Shoulders:  17” across, estimated due to raglan sleeve

Sleeves: 31” from the mid neck to the cuff, following the contour of the shoulder

Sleeve inseam:  22” long

Chest:  34”-35” around, taken under the arm, unstretched

Bottom:  37” around

Length:  30”, measured flat

This wool pullover sweater is in very clean condition with no pronounced wear, tear, stains or odour.
