This is an August Walther & Sohne Oralit cloud glass Liane footed bowl. It is made with a turned rim, their catalogue number 31443. The colour of the glass is what Walther called "Braun", sepia brown toned "trails" of colour within a clear coloured base. The bowl is made with a matte interior and gloss exterior. This Liane bowl was produced by Walther between 1932 and 1940. It measures 26.5 cm (10.5”) in diameter across its top with a height of 3 3/4“. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or wear. This Walther & Sohne Oralit cloud glass Liane footed bowl makes a lovely addition to a cloud glass collection, great display piece for an art deco decor!
