Vintage White Mongolian Lamb Jacket Ladies Size L

This is a vintage jacket/short coat made of Tibetan lamb, which is a long-haired, wavy fur that actually originates from Northern China.  The fur is white and the jacket is made in a simple style with no collar or lapel and with a front opening with three snap tab and ring closures.  There is a pocket built into either front side.  The jacket is fully lined in white acetate satin fabric.  The jacket has a fluffy, full appearance, really fun.    

Label: CA01550 Tib Lamb Agneau de Tibet Made in Hong Kong.  The CA01550 was the Canadian identification number for Dalmy’s Canada, a boutique chain retailer that was acquired by Reitmans in 1996, so this jacket pre-dates that year and most likely dates to the early 1990s.  It should be noted that Hong Kong was producing excellent quality at that time, which pre-dates the Chinese takeover.

Sizing: Size 12 is indicated, but this should fit a large size - please rely on the following exterior measurements for fit, taking the thickness of the fur into account (compare measurements with a similar coat that you presently own or to your own body measurements, taking the cut of the garment into account):

Shoulders: 17” across from shoulder/sleeve seam to shoulder sleeve seam

Sleeves: 25” from the shoulder sleeve seam

Sleeve inseam: 16 1/2”

Bust:  37” around, taken under the arms

Waist:  38” around

Overall length:  26”, measured flat, not including any fur hanging down

Condition:  It is in very good condition with no wear, tear, splits, stains or odor.  This coat looks to have seen little use and was well stored over the years.
