Vintage 1950s Taxco 950 Silver Cuff Bracelet R.CH Roman Chavarrieta

A vintage Mexican 950 silver cuff bracelet, made in Taxco and signed R.CH, the mark attributed to Taxco silversmith Roman Chavarrieta, who is associated with the workshop of Emma Meléndez.
The bracelet has an openwork Modernist design composed of three curving silver bands. Applied loops wrap around the bands at intervals, creating a sculptural, almost knotted or tied effect. The design is substantial in appearance while the open construction keeps the bracelet relatively light.
The interior is clearly stamped:

The 950 mark indicates silver of 950/1000 fineness, or 95% silver, a slightly higher silver content than standard .925 sterling.
Roman Chavarrieta is documented as a Taxco silversmith associated with Emma Meléndez, one of the workshops active during the important mid-century period of Mexican silver design. I would date this bracelet to the 1950s.
The bracelet measures approximately 6 3/4" around the interior, including the opening. It is somewhat adjustable and should best fit approximately a medium wrist. As with vintage silver cuffs, adjustment should be done carefully rather than repeatedly bending the bracelet.
