Vintage Roslyn Bone China Cup & Saucer Rose Pattern England

Brand Etsy

This is a bone china cup and saucer made in England under the Roslyn brand name. Roslyn was the brand name used by Reid & Co at the Park Pace Works, Longton from 1924 onwards. In 1946, the company name was changed to Roslyn China. The backstamp on this set looks to have been used from 1937 until the early 1950s, so the cup probably dates to the 1940s. It features a single large pink rose in the centre of both the cup and saucer - both pieces are finished in light green glaze with gold trim. This cup and saucer are in very good condition with no chips, cracks or wear - the set looks like it was never used. The saucer measures 5 5/8 in diameter while the cup measures 2 1/2 in height with a top diameter of 3 7/8. This is a very pretty cup and saucer..nice display set!
