Vintage Ralph Lauren Southwestern Coat Sweater Serape Indian Blanket USA Mens L

This is a vintage Ralph Lauren knit sweater or coat sweater made in a Southwestern style, similar in pattern to a Mexican serape or Indian blanket. The jacket has a pocket at either lower front side. There is a double button and lace closure, the buttons being silver toned, made in a “concho” style. It has dropped shoulders (the seam sits on the upper arm) and the sleeves have turned cuffs. Unfortunately, the Polo label has been removed and only the care label remains, but this is unmistakably Ralph Lauren. I believe that it is an older piece, made in the USA, very nice quality., made of wool in a heavier weight, easy to wear, and should provide good warmth.
Sizing: The size label has also been removed, and although this should fit a size large, please rely on the following measurements for fit, taking the thickness of the wool into account:
Shoulders: 23” across, from shoulder seam to shoulder seam (note that the seam sits on the upper arm)
Sleeves: 24” from the shoulder seam, including the turned cuff
Sleeve Inseam: 20”
Chest: 48” around
Bottom: 46” around
Length: 30”, measured flat
Condition: Aside from the missing label, this is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear, staining or odour. I’m unsure if the laces are a little short on the closure, but it definitely functions. This is in clean, wearable condition - a proper dry cleaning and pressing will be beneficial.
Great vintage Ralph Lauren - they don’t make these like this anymore, wonderful piece for the Polo collector!
