This is a vintage rain coat made in Canada by Aquascutum of London.  The coat is made of pure virgin wool in a checked pattern.  It has a squared collar, vertical side pockets, a three button closure plus a button at the neck.  There is a button down tab at either cuff and a 19 1/2” kick vent at the back.  This vintage rain coat is lined in black satin fabric.

Age: 1960s

Label: Aquascutum Ltd of London Made by Aquascutum in Canada along with the “By Appointment” Royal warrant

Color: Red, black and white

Sizing: Size 42 tall is indicated, but this is pretty roomy -  please rely on the following measurements for fit:

Shoulders:  21” across

Sleeves:  27” long approximate (from estimated shoulder)

Sleeve Inseam:  18”

Chest: 52” around, taken under the arms

Waist: 50” around, but meant to be cinched with the belt 

Hips: 50” around

Length: 43”

Condition: This vintage rain coat is in very clean condition with no wear, tear, odours or stains - this raincoat was well cared for over the years and looks to have seen little, if any, use.
