Vintage Novelty Cardigan Sheep Sweater Design Options by Philip & Jane Gordon S

This is a wonderful vintage novelty cardigan sweater featuring fleecy sheep against a blue background. It is made in a simple collarless cardigan style with shoulder pads, dropped shoulders, a six button closure and “jewel” neckline.  The sweater has a bouclé texture and the sheep are in black and off-white, with the white being in a raised fleece texture.

Material: 53% Ramie / 22% Cotton / 20% Acrylic / 5% Wool

Sizing: S for size small is indicated, but please note the following measurements for fit, taking the 1980s oversized style of the sweater into consideration:

Shoulders: 23” across, from the dropped shoulder/sleeve seam to the dropped shoulder/sleeve seam

Sleeves:  21” from the shoulder/sleeve seam

Sleeve inseam:  20” long

Bust:  42” around, taken under the arms, unstretched 

Bottom:  40” around

Overall length: 21", measured flat

Condition: It is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear, staining or odour.  Looks to have seen little use, and was well stored.
