Vintage NOS Red Holiday Jacket Mens Blazer Sport Coat L Unused 1970s NWT

This is an unused vintage men’s blazer jacket or sport coat made in a solid red colour.  The jacket still has its label affixed to the left cuff and the size ticket affixed to the interior opening edge.  The jacket is made with medium width notched lapels and a two metal button closure.  There is a patch pocket at either side and a pocket at the left chest.  The back bottom has a 11 1/2” back vent, still held closed by its original thread.   The jacket is fully lined, in a light grey acetate fabric.  It has a pocket built into the interior at either side. 

Cuff labels: Holiday Fabric / Yves St Germain Montreal Paris Rome

Fabric label:  50% Polyester / 50% Rayon Made in Canada

Union label: ACTWU (Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers Union) formed in 1976 and which changed its name to UNITE in 1995.

Tailor’s label:  Styled by The Tailor Shop Golden Needle Tailoring City of Lasalle

Sizing: Size 46 is indicated, but it fits more like a 42-44, so please rely on the following measurements for fit (compare measurements with a similar jacket that you presently own or to your own body measurements, taking the cut of the garment into account):

Shoulders: 18” across from shoulder/sleeve seam to shoulder/sleeve seam

Sleeves: 25 1/2” from the shoulder/sleeve seam

Sleeve inseam: 17”

Chest:  45” around, taken under the arms

Waist:  42” around

Overall length:  32”, measured flat

Condition:  It is in excellent condition as it was never used.

This is a very nice quality jacket, wonderful to find unused like this - great colour, sure to be noticed!
