This is a Nordair Airline pilot uniform jacket that belonged to the a gentleman who held the rank of First Officer. Nordair was a Quebec based airline that flew primarily to the Canadian North or to the Caribbean. The jacket is dated 1983 on the Aero Mode tailor’s label. There are three gold stripes on either sleeve cuff and gold wings with an N in the middle at the chest.
Sizing: No size is indicated - it should fit a medium size, but please note the following measurements for fit, taken from the exterior of the piece:
Shoulders: 18 1/2” across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam
Sleeves: 24” long
Sleeve Inseam: 17” long
Chest: 42” around, taken under the arms
Waist: 38” around
Overall length: 31" measured laying flat
Condition: It is in very good condition with no wear, tear, pulls, stains or odors - this jacket looks like it saw little use and was well cared for over the years.
