Vintage Mens 1960s British Invasion Suit Blue Shiny Wool M

This is a wonderful vintage 1960s mens British Invasion suit made in a somewhat shiny midnight blue fabric, probably a worsted wool.  The jacket to this British Invasion suit has high set narrow lapels and a three covered button front.  The sleeves have single button cuffs.  There is a jetted pocket at either side, and a pocket at the left chest.  The jacket is half lined with a striped red fabric.  It has two interior pockets. The pants to this British Invasion suit have a flat front (no pleats), size adjustment tabs at the waist and a straight leg with no turned cuff at the bottom.

Sizing: No size is indicated as this British Invasion suit is custom tailored, and although this British Invasion suit should fit a medium size (about a US size 38), please rely on the following measurements for fit, taken from the exterior (please take the thickness of the fabric and the cut of the suit into consideration):

Shoulders: 19” across shoulder seam-to-seam 

Sleeves: 24” from shoulder seam

Sleeve Inseam: 15 1/2” long

Chest: 42” around, taken under the arms

Waist: 38”

Hips:  42”

Overall length: 29"

Pants:

Waist:  38”, adjustable with tabs 

Hips:  40”

Length:  39”

Leg Inseam:  28 1/2” - there is an extra 2” inside the cuff should you require a bit more length

Condition:  This British Invasion suit is being offered at a reduced price due to the presence of four pinhead sized holes - one at the right shoulder, one at the mid-back and two on the back left buttocks/upper left leg (see last photos of all four holes).  Otherwise, this suit is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear, staining, soiling or odour.  

This is a wonderful British Invasion suit from the 60s ......quality fabric, attractive colour and sheen……getting hard to find suits like this!
