Vintage Heavy Cut Crystal Glass Bowl 8.25 Top Diameter

This is a cut crystal glass bowl, quite thick and deeply cut, reminiscent of Waterford, but unmarked. It is cut in a crosshatch, ribbed and thumbprint pattern with a 16 point star cut underside. The quality of the glass is excellent - lovely clarity. The bowl measures 8 1/4 in diameter across its top and 4 1/2 in height with a 1/2 thick wall and is fairly heavy for its size, weighing 4 lbs and 2 oz. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, scratching or wear. This is a beautiful quality glass bowl that rings nicely when tapped..as noted, looks like Waterford, but possibly by another quality crystal company
