This is a very attractive pair of cufflinks that feature “goldstones” in a gold toned metal setting.  Goldstones are actually glass, made with copper dust or shavings - its invention is credited to Vincenzo Miotti, an 18th century Murano, Italy glassmaker.  The cufflinks of very good quality - nice solid construction with well functioning toggles.  They measure 11/16” by 13/16” at the front with a  stone that measures about 14 mm in width.  They are in very good condition.  I believe that they date to the 1960s.
