This is a vintage mixed lot of seven forks, five knives, two meat forks and a knife sharpener made by Glo-Hill of Montreal, Canada. Glo-Hill was founded in 1946 by Leo Globus and Harry Hill and produced tableware/serving ware under the the Glo-Hill brand name through the 1950s and 60s, ceasing operations during the 1970s. This lot features butterscotch bakelite handles. The blades are marked with GH Warranted Cutlery within a crowned cartouche and with Stainless Steel while the forks are marked GH Stainless Steel. Each knife measures 8 3/4 in length while each fork measures 6 3/4 in length. The knives have slight serration at the front of the blade and the forks have tapered handles. The lot is in very good condition - looks like it saw little, if any, use at all, but one of the meat forks, however, does not have pointed prongs, possibly these were broken off.
Nice vintage lot of Glo-Hill butterscotch bakelite handle forks and knives.
