This is a vintage faux leopard fur coat made in Canada using French Tissavel acrylic pile fabric. The coat is made in a style very similar to one worn by Amy Adams in the movie American Hustle, with a huge collar, except the body of hers looks like imitation mink paw, whereas this one is imitation leopard - both coats have the same “fluffy” look to them. There are no closures, but the coat cinches closed at the waist with a beige leather sash belt that matches the interior trim, so definitely original. It has raglan sleeves and there is a pocket built into the left side. The coat is lined in peach coloured satin.
Label: The content label has a CA identification number of CA00406, which is the number assigned to Princess Garments of North York (Toronto).
Material: 100% Acrylic / Backing 100% Cotton. Lining 100% Acetate
