This is a 1931 edition of The Story of the Airship by Hugh Allen. This hard cover book was published every subsequent year in order to incorporate the latest technological changes in what was a new and developing field of aviation. This was published before various mishaps with airships, most notably the 1937 Hindenburg zeppelin disaster. The book is in near fine / else fine condition with a chip to the upper spine (see last close-up photo) and an inscription at the front (To Walter the 1 Lone Eagle from Ned the other Lone Eagle Montreal Aug 29th 1931). Otherwise, the book is very clean, It measures 9 3/8 by 6 3/8 closed and consists of 84 pages plus cover.
