This is a wonderful Courreges Paris knit sweater made in a pullover style with V shaped neckline. The sweater is knit in blue with a pink and white pattern around its lower area. It has a small collar, long sleeves and ribbing along the neckline, the bottom and the cuffs. The left chest is embroidered with “Courreges".
Label: Courreges Paris Made in France. Andre Courreges is a legendary Parisian fashion designer, known for his avant garde “space age” design during the 1960s, and his innovative, “fresh” looking designs through the 70s.
Material: 31% Mohair / 69% Acrylic knit, so some stretch
Sizing: Size 0 is indicated, which is a Courreges size code equivalent to a US size 6/8 - the lady from whom this came usually wore a size 6-8, but please note the following measurements for fit (your body measurements should be smaller, or measure a similar garment that you own):
Shoulders: 16” across from shoulder/sleeve seam to shoulder/sleeve seam
Sleeves: 24” long from the shoulder/sleeve seam with the cuff unturned
Sleeve inseam: 17”
Bust: 36” around, unstretched
Bottom: 17” around the ribbed area, unstretched, and 30” fully stretched - best fit would be around 26”-28”
Length: 22” long, measured flat
Condition: It is in very good condition with no wear, tear, staining or odour. The lady from whom this came was a shopaholic and only wore her things once or twice, if at all.
