Vintage CH Barnnam Pottery Silver Jubilee Mug King George V 1935

This is a vintage 1935 King George V Silver Jubilee mug made by the CH Brannam pottery of Barnstable, Devon. The lettering is hand etched into the clay before firing - unique and wonderful in its simplicity. The mug measures 3 7/8 in height and 4 1/4 in width including its handle - it has a depth of about 3 1/4. It is in very good condition with the exception of three small glaze chips - two to the top edge and one on the side handle (see last close-up photo). Despite this, the mug displays well as is.
This is a simple, yet wonderful King George V Silver Jubilee commemorative mug - nice addition to a collection!
