Vintage Biltmore Beaver Blend Velour Fedora Hat Black 6 7/8 Made in Canada 1950s
This vintage Biltmore fedora is crafted in a rich black beaver blend fur felt with a luxurious velour finish. The surface has a dense, soft nap that gives the hat depth and a subtle sheen under light.
Made in Canada by Biltmore, this example dates to approximately the late 1950s to early 1960s based on its interior crest, sweatband stamping, proportions, and Quebec retailer marking.
The interior retains its original Biltmore Beaver Blend crest under a clear plastic protector. The leather sweatband is gold stamped and retailer marked to Pat’s Men’s & Boys’ Wear, 5425 Verdun Ave., Verdun, P.Q.
This is a classic mid-century fedora with a narrow brim and period styling.

Condition
In very good condition. The velour finish remains even and plush. Interior lining intact. Sweatband is supple.
The band around the crown is frayed at one area on the right side, visible in the photo of that side. In addition, there is a bit of verdigris to the text under the plastic, but this could be cleaned by removing the plastic protector.
