This is a wonderful Stetson plush fedora hat made in the “Twenty Five” quality. The Twenty Five line was a better quality line, more expensive than a 3X Beaver. The hat is made in a homburg style with upturned brim. It is made in a gorgeous beige colour. The crown is decorated with a black grosgrain band and a feather at the side. The inventory ticket on the interior sweatband has a price of $25 on it, so the hat probably dates to the early 60s. The lining is stamped “Stetson Twenty Five” and the sweatband is gold stamped “Canadian Beaver” and with the retailer’s name “Henri Henri 255 Ste Catherine Est Montreal”. Henri Henri is a venerable Montreal men’s hat shop still in business today. The foil label on the sweatband states that it is a size “6 7/8”, which is a size small. It measures 21 3/8” around the sweatband and 7 1/2” by 6 1/2” across the opening. It is in excellent condition with no wear, tear or soiling - this hat looks to have seen little, if any, use and was well cared for over the years. This is a very nice quality hat in an attractive colour and plush finish - great hat if it fits!
