Vintage 50s Bride & Groom Chalkware Cake Topper 1951 J Levinsohn

This is a 1950s chalk ware plaster cake topper made in the form of a bride and groom by J Levinsohn. The piece is dated next to the Levinsohn signature with the year 1951. They covered the lower part by attached a cloth skirt around the couple, but the bride has a very attractive moulded dress, so Im now sure that the cloth, tulle and flowers are necessary. It measures 6 1/4 in height and weighs 11.4 oz. Unfortunately, the grooms facial features have wear, but if someone is good at touchup, this could be improved. Otherwise, it is in very good condition with no other pronounced wear or chips - please view all of the photos. Despite the wear, this is a very nice vintage cake topper - you just have to decide whether to keep the cloth skirt or not. Nice having the date on this wedding cake topper!
