Vintage 1980s WilliWear Men’s Jacket by Willi Smith Size L
This vintage 1980s WilliWear men’s jacket by American designer Willi Smith reflects Smith’s vision of 1980s “street couture” — a blending of 80s sophistication with relaxed, wearable tailoring.
Made in Hong Kong, the jacket features the decade’s signature broad-shouldered, boxy silhouette with a two-button front closure, notched lapels, and low set jetted pockets. The fabric is a textured black wool-blend with teal pinstripes woven vertically throughout. It is fully lined in black acetate.
Smith, one of the most influential American designers of the late 20th century, co-founded WilliWear Ltd. in 1976 and became renowned for creating stylish, affordable clothing inspired by urban life and youth culture. He passed away in 1987 and WilliWear closed its doors in 1990.
