This is a vintage 1980s New Wave suit, new old stock without tags (NWOT), made under the Designers by Cheers and Cheers Select brand names (probably a UK brand). This vintage 1980s New Wave suit includes a blue blazer and matching blue trousers, both with contrast white star-print trim and matching belt. Made of lightweight cotton, the set has a relaxed fit.
The jacket has a notched lapel, patch pockets, and a sewn-on label at the chest. The pants have an elasticized waistband with a matching belt, tapered legs, and a decorative patch label at the back. Both pieces are unlined and unstructured, giving them a casual feel. This vintage 1980s New Wave suit is in unused condition, showing no signs of wear.
