Vintage 1980s Miami Vice Jacket White Heat After Six Size 40

This is a men’s Miami Vice jacket made by After Six in the White Heat colour.  After Six launched the Miami Vice line in 1986 based on the popular television series starring Don Johnson.  The line consisted of shawl collar dinner jackets with matching pants in four different colours as well as this notched lapel model, which was only made in White Heat - this notched  Miami Vice jacket jacket is the one typically seen being worn by Don Johnson in the series.  The fabric is textured with “slubs”, typical of silk, even though the material is polyester.   

This Miami Vice jacket has medium width notched lapels and a single covered button closure.  The shoulders of this Miami Vice jacket are padded and there is a velcro closure jetted pocket at either side (no flap) and a pocket at the left chest.  The jacket is fully lined in a white viscose fabric.  It has two interior pockets and no back vent.

Chest: 44” around, taken under the arms

Waist: 39”, around

Overall length: 30 1/4”, measured flat at the back from the neck seam

Condition: This Miami Vice jacket is in very clean condition without wear, tear or soiling - this jacket has been very well cared for and stored.
