Vintage 1980s Burberrys’ Prorsum Blazer Navy Wool Mens 40-42

This is a vintage 1980s Burberrys’ Prorsum blazer, made in England from 100% wool. Designed in a classic double-breasted style, it features peaked lapels and structured shoulders, with six gold-tone thistle buttons on the front and four on the cuffs.  It has a two button closure and double-vented back.  There is a flapped pocket at either side and a welted pocket at the left chest.  It is fully lined in Burberrys’ logo-patterned viscose

Sizing: Marked as British size 54, but this is a vintage sizing - I believe that this vintage 1980s Burberrys’ Prorsum blazer fits approximately a US size 40/42R based on the following measurements:

Shoulders: 18 1/2” seam to seam

Sleeves: 26” from shoulder seam

Sleeve inseam: 17 3/4”

Chest: 45” around (underarms)

Waist: 41” around

Length: 30 3/4” from back neck seam to hem

Condition: Excellent condition — clean and well preserved, looks to have seen very little use..
