This is a 1970s wool vest made in France by Yves Saint Laurent Paris. The vest is made of wool and lined in bronze colored satin rayon acetate. The wool is woven in a plaid pattern in muted colored of maroon, navy blue, light blue and white. It is trimmed in a brown colored roped wool. It is cut in a straight, longish style and closes with seven buttons down the front. The shoulders are padded. There is an applied pocket at the left breast and at either side.

Sizing: French size 36 is indicated, which is equivalent to a US size 6, which is a small size. Still, please rely on the following measurements for fit:

It's in very good condition - very clean and looks like it saw little use.

This is an interesting vintage piece featuring design by one of the greatest Parisian couturiers......very nice quality.
