This is a very nice quality 100% pure cashmere sweater made in Britain for St. Michael, the brand established by Marks & Spencer in 1928. The sweater is made in a simple cardigan style with a V shaped neckline and five button closure. It has raglan type sleeves. There is a small pocket at either side bottom front. It has ribbing at the cuffs, the opening of the pockets and the bottom of the sweater. The buttons and buttonholes are reinforced on the interior. The sweater is in a navy blue colour.

Sizing: As mentioned, 42” chest is indicated, so this should fit a large size (US 40/42) - please rely on the following measurements for fit taking your looseness/tightness preference :
Sleeves: 36 1/2” long from the neck opening with the cuffs unturned
Sleeve Inseam: 21 1/2” with the cuff unturned
Chest: 45” around, taken under the arms, unstretched
Bottom: 42” around, unstretched
Overall length: 31”, measured flat
Condition: It is in very good condition with no wear, holes, pulls, repairs stains or odour. This sweater looks to have seen little use and was well stored over the years.
This is a beautiful quality sweater, soft to the touch - they don’t make cashmere of this quality any longer, warmth, softness and appearance, nice acquisition!
