This is a lovely quality shirt blouse made in Germany by Van Laack. Van Laack was established in Berlin in 1881 and has a long history of manufacturing quality men’s shirts. In 1972, they expanded their line to include women’s blouses - this blouse was made around the time of their expansion into the ladies’ market. It is made of beautiful quality yellow silk that is printed with bees in a darker yellow, brown and grey colour combination. The blouse has a fairly wide, pointy collar, typical of the early 70s. It has a four button closure and the sleeves have two button cuffs. The buttons are all mother-of-pearl with circular engraving. Lady Van Laack Royal is embroidered at the back neck.
