Vintage 1970s Mens Suit Blue Pinstripe Wool Size Medium 38 Tall

This is a vintage 1970s mens suit featuring a grey pinstripe on a greyish blue background colour. The suit is made of 100% wool in a plain weave similar to “fresco”, where the weave is a bit more open allowing more breathability. The jacket has padded shoulders, wide peaked lapels and a two button front. There is a pocket at either side, each with a wide slanted flap, and a chest pocket. The back has a 13” centre vent. Each sleeve cuff has three buttons. It is half lined in a charcoal acetate fabric. The pants are cut with a flat front and tapered leg. There is a semi-circular pocket built into upper front side and two pockets at the back.

Sizing: No size is indicated on the jacket, and although this should fit a medium size, probably a size 38 tall (check the sleeve length), please rely on the following measurements for fit (compare measurement with a similar garment that you presently own or to your own body measurements, taking the cut of the garment into account):

Chest: 41” around, taken under the arm opening, meant to be loose/wide

Overall length: 32”, measured flat

Leg inseam: 29 1/2”, measured flat

Condition: It is in very good condition with no wear, tear, soiling, stains or odour - this looks to have seen little use and was well kept over the years.
