This is a vintage 1970s era wraparound skirt that was made in India. The skirt is block printed with a repeating stylized Lotus flower motif throughout the body and Mandala motifs in the borders along the open edge. The skirt wraps around and is secured with the aid of straps on either end that insert through slots cut in the waistband and then tie together at the appropriate sizing.
Label: CA02155 - this is the identification of the Canadian importer, Elite Collection of Montreal.
Color: Pink tone of red and black against dropped out beige fabric
Material: 100% Indian Cotton
Sizing: No size is indicated, but this should fit a range of medium sizes - please note the following measurements for fit, taking the style of the skirt into consideration:
Waist: 28” at its smallest adjustment to about 32” around at its largest adjustment
Hips: Full meant to fall loosely
Overall length: 39 1/2“, measured flat
Condition: This skirt is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear or staining. This skirt looks like it saw little use and was well stored over the years.
