From the 70s, here's a fine example from Halston. It is made of a taupe ultrasuede, the fabric was made in Japan and the actual skirt was manufactured in Canada under the Halston licensing. It does up with a nylon zipper and button at the waist.
It is sized as a size 6. Please note the following measurements for sizing all given in inches, as well as centimeters.
Waist: 26 in or 33 cm
Hips: full - I would not recommend over 42 in or107 cm as it's meant to flow
Overall Length 42 in or 107 cm
Condition is very good, no stains or flaws.
A little about Halston the designer. He was known for making garments in cashmere and ultrasuede in the mid-70s. He designed his clothing for the American woman and felt his designs reflected a relaxed urban lifestyle. He started as a milliner back in Chicago in the 1950s and he designed the famous pillbox hat Jackie Kennedy wore.
A nice 70s Halston piece to add to your collection, great for the fall!
