This is a wonderful acrylic/cotton blend knit sweater top made by Courreges during the 1970s. The sweater has a V shaped neckline that closes with two ties to form a rounded neckline with a peek-a-boo front. The word “Courreges” is embroidered horizontally underneath the neckline at the left side. The body features repeating raised horizontal bands that are knit in a white/black/blue striped pattern. It has long sleeves.
Label: Courreges Paris Made in France - the model number is 10852. Andre Courreges is a legendary Parisian fashion designer, known for his avant garde “space age” design during the 1960s, and his innovative, “fresh” looking designs through the 70s.

Material: 51% Acetate / 49% Cotton with 100% Cotton trim (embroidered word “Courreges”).

Condition: It is in very good condition with no wear, tear, stains or odors. The logo is a little loose at a couple of edges, but this is minor. This sweater looks like it saw little use, and was very well cared for over the years. Clean and ready to use.
