Vintage 1970s Courreges Paris Top Pink Acrylic Knit Size S

This is a wonderful vintage 1970s Courreges Paris top that could almost be worn as a mini dress if you were daring enough - probably originally was worn with hot pants.  The top has a shirt type collar, short sleeves and does up the upper front with six white snaps.  It has the Courreges logo embroidered in white on the centre front below the opening.  The fabric is semi-transparent - note the white colour of the mannequin showing though the pink colour.

Age: 1970s

Label:  Courreges Paris Modele Depose Made in Belgium.  Andre Courreges is a legendary Parisian fashion designer, known for his avant garde “space age” design during the 1960s, and his innovative, “fresh” looking designs through the 70s.

Material: 100% Acrylic knit, so has a bit of stretch to it 

Sizing: Size 0 is indicated, which is the Courreges size code for a US size 4/6 - please note the following measurements for fit (your body measurements should be smaller, or measure a similar garment that you own):

Shoulders:  13” across from seam to seam

Sleeves:  8” long

Bust:  32” around, unstretched, and 34” fully stretched

Waist:  29” around unstretched, 31” around stretched

Length:  27” long, measured flat

Condition:  It is in very good condition with no wear, tear, stains or odour - this top looks like it saw little use and was very well cared for over the years.
