This is an ornate vintage 1970s Christian Dior tie made in Canada by Abbey Neckwear under license to Christian Dior. This vintage 1970s Christian Dior tie is printed in striking tones of bright pink, ochre, red, black and white against a brown background. The tie loop reads “Christian Dior” while the content label reads “100% Triacetate CA00013 (the id number for Abbey Neckwear” - the original price ticket of $6.00 is still in place. The tie measures 4” in width at its widest and 57” in length. It is in very good condition with no stains or wear - there are a couple of places in the ochre where there is a darker ochre misprint, but this is original to the printing of the fabric. In any case, the tie presents itself very well.
