Vintage 1970s Christian Dior Boutique Blouse Pink Cotton Linen NWOT Size M

This is an unused cotton and linen blended blouse made in France under the Christian Dior Boutique label, dating to the 1970s.  This came from a lot of old store stock from the 1960s and 70s that I acquired about five years ago, some with tags and some without - included in the lot were a number of pieces by Christian Dior, but also other French fashion houses, all of it unused.  I’ve posed it with a linen cotton floral Dior skirt in the second photo, but the skirt is not included.  This blouse is made in a solid warm pink colour - because the fabric is somewhat sheer, the white mannequin makes the colour look even “warmer” than it actually is.  The blouse is made in a simple collarless shirt style with rounded neckline and long sleeves that have a single button narrow cuff.  It has a four shell button closure.

Fabric:  The material label reads 50% cotton 50% linen

Sizing: Size 40 is indicated on the size label, and although this should fit a medium size, please rely on the following measurements for fit:

Neck:  18 1/2”

Shoulders:  16” across from shoulder/sleeve seam to shoulder/sleeve seam

Sleeves: 23 1/2” from the shoulder/sleeve seam 

Sleeve inseam: 18”

Bust:  36”

Waist: 35”, meant to be tucked in

Length: 26”, measured flat

Condition:  This is in excellent condition as it is unused and was well stored for over the years
