This is a wonderful vintage 1970s summer dress made of floral printed cotton. This 1970s summer dress is made in a simple sleeveless sheath style with narrow red grosgrain shoulder straps. The top edge is made of red grosgrain and the waistline and hemline are made of pink grosgrain with a red stripe through the middle. The dress does up the back with a nylon zipper.
Makers Label: The Gilberts for Tally New York
Retailer label: Lord & Taylor. Lord & Taylor was established in 1826 in Manhattan, eventually building their Fifth Avenue flagship store in 1914. They carried only quality fashion, finally filing for bankruptcy in 2021.

Sizing: No size is indicated, and although this should fit a medium size, please note the following measurements for fit:
Bust: 32” around
Waist: 25” around
Hips: 40”, meant to fall loosely
Length: 44”, measured flat from the top of the shoulder straps
Condition: This 1970s summer dress is in very good condition with no wear, tear, stains or odour - this dress looks like it saw little use and was well stored over the years.
