Vintage 1960s Suit Jacket and Vest Blue Shiny Wool Size M

This is a vintage 1960s suit jacket with matching vest made in a somewhat shiny blue wool fabric.  The shoulders of this 1960s suit jacket are padded and the notched lapels are narrow and high-set.  It has a three covered button closure and a covered button at the end of either sleeve.  There is a flapped pocket at either side as well as a pocket at the left breast.  The jacket is half lined in a shiny maroon toned acetate fabric.  The vest has a four pocket front, cutaway bottom, six plastic button closure and is backed in maroon acetate.

Sizing: No size is indicated on this 1960s suit jacket, and although it should fit a medium size, probably size 38, please rely on the following measurements for fit, taken from the exterior (please take the thickness of the fabric into consideration):

Shoulders: 18 1/2” across shoulder seam-to-seam 

Sleeves: 25” from shoulder seam

Sleeve Inseam: 16 1/2” long

Chest: 42” around, taken under the arms

Waist: 39”

Overall length: 30”, taken at the back from the neck seam

Vest:

Bottom: 34”

Overall length: 20 1/2”, taken at the back from the neck seam

Condition:  This 1960s suit jacket and vest are in excellent condition with no wear, tear, stains or odour - this 1960s suit jacket and vest set looks like it saw little use and was very well kept over the years.  

Wonderful fabric and colour - although no pants, this 1960s suit jacket probably would work with grey pants.  Nice 60s style!
