Vintage 1960s Pinstripe Wool Blend Skirt Suit Size Small

This is a very attractive pinstripe wool blend suit consisting of a jacket and skirt.  The jacket has high set wide notched lapels, an applied square patch pocket at either lower side and closes with two buttons.  The closure is cutaway, so that when the jacket is closed, the lapels overlap.  The skirt closes at the back with a nylon zipper and button and has a notch opening at the centre front. The wool is made with a silver grey pinstripe on a black background.  Both pieces are fully lined in black acetate.  Please note that the suit was too small for my mannequin, so fit poorly

Sizing: No size is indicated, and although this should fit a small size, please note the following measurements for fit (your body measurements should be smaller, or measure a similar garment that you own):

Jacket:

Shoulders:  15” across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam

Sleeves:  23” from the shoulder seam

Sleeve inseam:  17 1/2”

Bust:  34” around

Waist:  30” around

Length:  26” long, measured flat

Skirt:

Waist:  24”-25” around

Hips:  34”-35” around

Length:  24 1/2” long, measured flat

Condition: It is in very good condition with no wear, tear, stains or odors except for some discolouration to the lining on the jacket - otherwise, this suit looks like it saw little use, and was very well cared for over the years.

This is a great looking vintage suit - classic and easy to wear!
