This is a 1960s mini dress made by Robert Twigg, who I believe was a Montreal couturier.  This 1960s mini dress is made in black velvet with gold braid trim.  It is made in a simple form that does up the front with a metal zipper.  There is a patch pocket at either lower side and the sleeves are 3/4 length.  It is fully lined in black acetate.  

Sizing: No size is indicated on this 1960s mini dress as it was custom made, and although this should fit a medium size, please rely on the following measurements for fit:

Shoulders:  16” across seam-to-seam

Sleeves:  20 1/2”

Sleeve inseam:  14 1/2”

Bust: 39” around

Waist: 34”

Hips: 39”

Overall length: 33 1/2“, measured flat

Condition:  This dress is in very clean condition with no wear, tear, staining or odour - it looks to have seen very little use and was well stored and cared for over the years.
