Vintage 1960s Cocktail Dress Black Rayon Chiffon Sleeveless Pleated Shift Size M
This is a vintage 1960s black cocktail dress made with a rayon chiffon pleated overlay over a crepe base. The dress is cut in a classic 1960s shift silhouette with a high neckline, sleeveless cut, and straight shape that falls from the shoulders without a defined waist. Two long chiffon scarf-like bands fall from the neck at the back. The crepe does up with a nylon zipper at the back while the chiffon overlay does up with a series of snaps down the back. The pleated chiffon overlay gives the dress movement and texture, while the layered hem and longer back panel create an elegant draped effect typical of mid-1960s cocktail wear.

Very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear, soiling, staining or odour. An old dry cleaning tag is still affixed
