This is a 1960s vintage hard shell vinyl travel case made under the Amelia Earhart brand. The exterior has red, yellow and black stripes around the lid and the rest of the case is in blue. It has a vinyl carrying strap. The interior has straps that would hold a large mirror although no mirror is present. The bottom interior side has a three compartment elasticized strap that could hold bottles. It is lined in a floral patterned vinyl and sits on four metal ball feet. The latch has a lock, but there is no key - this is an older model as they subsequently put combination locks on these type of cases. There is no top tray, but I don’t think that this ever had one. It is in very good shape - the original owner’s name still appears on a label as well as some travel labels from the Far East, particularly Singapore. These could be removed if desired, but they give this case a cool look. Otherwise, this really looks to have little use. The case measures 9 1/8” by 14 1/2” by 9” high, exclusive of the carrying strap.
This is a great travel case in a very pretty tone of blue - super piece for short forays or a perfect addition to a luggage set for longer trips!
