This is a souvenir concert tour program titled The Biggest Show of Stars for 57. The show featured some really great acts, all black performers with a mix of RnR, RnB, soul and doo wop artists. Some of these are little known, but should be famous, such as soul singer Ann Cole, ahead of her time, The School Boys who pre-dated Frankie Lyman and the Teenagers, and Eddie Cooley and the Dimples, an R&B act - Cooley wrote Fever. Also on the bill were better known acts such as Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, Bill Doggett, Clyde McPhatter, LaVern Baker, The Five Keys, The Moonglows and the Five Satins. Wow - that must have been some show! The program consists of 24 pages plus cover and measures 9 by 12. It is in great condition with no pronounced wear, definitely well kept over the years. A lot of great full page promo photos of the groups along with bios. This is a wonderful collectible souvenir program dating to the height of the rock and roll and R&B eras.
