Vintage 1950s Tie Abstract Pattern Necktie Atomic Era
This vintage 1950s tie dates to the early–mid 1950s and features a striking abstract pattern in pink, yellow, and black against a textured background in a blended pink and black tone. The design reflects the modernist motifs of the period, blending geometric forms with scattered dot accents typical of early 1950s menswear.
The tie measures 54" in length and 3 1/4" at its widest point—a proportion characteristic of ties made between 1952 and 1956, after the oversized late-1940s “Bold Look” era and before ties narrowed again toward the end of the decade. The tie is lightly lined and finished with matching self-fabric tipping at the ends, a detail found on higher-quality ties of the period.
