This is a lovely vintage 1950s rhinestone necklace signed Sherman in an oval plaque on its end piece - the use of a script signature within an oval dates the piece to the 50s.  The necklace is made in a simple “chain” construction, each link studded with a prong set aurora borealis blue rhinestone take takes on a purple tone under lighting.  The front has a second row of size graduated navette rhinestones and the centre is formed in a navette and round rhinestone cluster.  The stones are mirror finished blue.  Sherman used only Swarovski rhinestones - the stones on this necklace have amazing reflection and sparkle.   The necklace has a rhodium plated setting.  The necklace measures 17” long, laid out straight.  It is in very good condition with no wear, scratching, replaced stones or repairs.
