Vintage 1950s Mens Suit Blue Wool 2 Piece Dated 1959 Size M

This is a wonderful 1950s mens suit dated 1959 and consisting of a jacket and one pair of pants.  The jacket of this 1950s mens suit has peaked lapels and a four button double breasted front.  The shoulders of the jacket are padded and the sleeves have four buttons at the cuffs.  There is a jetted pocket at either side and also a pocket at the left chest.  The jacket is lined with a blue coloured satin striped fabric.  It has two interior pockets. The pants have a pleated front and a slightly tapered leg with a turned cuff at the bottom.

Sizing: No size is indicated on this 1950s mens suit as this is custom tailored, but this should fit a medium size, about a size 38 short - please rely on the following measurements for fit, taken from the exterior (please take the thickness of the fabric and the cut of the 1950s mens suit into consideration):

Sleeve Inseam: 15 1/2” long

Condition:  This 1950s mens suit is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear, stains or odors - this suit saw little use and was very well kept over the years.  

This 1950s mens suit features wonderful late 50s style, very sharp - nice to have the date on the tailor’s label….
